i dont think so. i think a healthy balance of both is best. i decent sized jackpot and then turn incentives to keep it goin for the free players.

well supporters keep the game going, by funding it, and free players keep it fun and makes it easier for those just joining the game to get started. But there has to be a healthy balance of the two, for the game to thrive.

were on the way to adding a safe bank wit % of cash will be deopsited,, and family banks,, no way,, that another exploit to rank people who havent played round but win at the end !!! we had it and deleted it just that fast for that reason !!

Exclamation that raises a good point seeing as how our game is a virtual 00 fest. who woulda thought that guys would scramble theyre asses off for 5k top prize as OPs killer??? we jsut threw that one in there to be cool... cuz we really dont caremuch for OPs killing but we know its an important strategic aspect to the game... Tef mentioned that also. maybe for a round or so we drop op killer prizes still hand out the medal tho? lets let this round fly as is and see how things go... the majorissue wre facing here is not enough active players yet. cuz other than that everything is setup to kick ass had we at least 100-150 more active players.... Sad

well ya know, you cant always rely on the players to spread the word of the game. So we (staff) need to come up with some better ways of recruiting players to make these KICK ASS details stand out.

Miki's right, I'm sure at one point our fams are gonna quit battling, then at that point, we're just gonna rule the game, cause the fight will be for NW between the two fams, not so much on the kills.

Well thats the thing, we all want more players, but we gotta find a way to get more players. I've suggested that we get set up on some voting sites, so that way others besides our direct lines (people that we know personally) can find out about the game. I've checked out a few games based on a voting site, so that might be an option... but apparently thats low on the priority list.

I think it should get moved up, so we get more people. recruiting has to be set as a priority. This game is set up really well, we need to start focusing more on recruiting.

So tef, charles, mafia, can we get set up on some voting sites?? and maybe some turn incentives for voting?? (reserves only)

today we are gonna get on a voting site and if theres time we got another thing to do ,, but we surely need to get more players in here,, we only average about 60 players per round,, would like to see it up over 200 on a steady basis to get a good following for the game!!

too many helpers, family size too big, people dont wanna play if you cant get into the two top families, and they dominate everything, its just not worth it, even im getting bored with this game, and i dunno how much longer im going to be playing because its just not fun, and it hasnt been for a while now

Yeah, this is gettin pretty rediculous. Fam size needs to go back down to 10. increasing fam sizes that far this fast was a mistake. Which is easily rendered. Lets just change it back to 10, and see how things go. that should atleast add two more fams minimum, and increase the excitement two fold.

once again fam sizes are going to be decreased. were gunna pull killer ranks for a lil bit to get some numbers OPs and DUs for the players out there. we dont have the active player base to hand out ranks for killing unless its an extra few turns here and there. but basicly killers has turned into its own breed of player. we want all the fun aspects of mafia theme to be added to the strategy of the game rather than blatent killing "just cuz you got DUs were gunna take em..." TEF is a fucking good killer- im not too shabby myself- but the theme for our game is build protect and strategicly war and compete. Sure we could max attacks and change things, but i dont want to do that. Im trying to find the best way to assemble all these things into the family production and togetherness while at the same time send out the family hitmen to do theyre dirt- and make the Padrinos really strategize and organize with theyre members. if you guys follow me. Were like other games granted with script layouts,ranks,etc in most respects... but what were trying to achieve strategic and theme wise is beyond the scope of what most game owners are taking the time to capture for theyre game. Even with all the pirate scripts floating out there every fucking day theres a new game- i still like to think were ahead of the pack in most of these respects... So again- after hosting issues are settled and things return to normal- emphasis will be on the game set up overall and also in promoting this ideal theme that i have described. While at the same time cramming as many legit active players on this server as possible! more players=more players- its the ancient art of popularity and recognition that most all humans instinctivly follow... Our loyal friend/network base is/was already here. now its time to promote & VOTE & grow with the game! cheers Exclamation
